Sorry Steve, but I'm going south. Last time I went with Stena I swore myself never to go with them again. It's a lot cheaper, faster and less hassle to drive all the way down to Calais and catch the train.
I am simply not prepared to pay 430,- for an eight hour journey each way, and be obligated to take a cabin when sailing overnight (yes, those costs are extra of course).
Last year I asked for a return sailing to go to Donington LMS by camper van, and they dared to ask 760,- for a weekend return!!
