Back at 0600 this morning, after a nice gentle run back up to Calais from Le Mans, then Dover to home, albeit slightly extended after a refuelling stop at Alencon when the MGA failed to restart. Didn't take too long to revealed that the points had closed up, so a quick adjustment using the MkI eyeball to set the right gap and a screwdriver to tighten the locking screw got us underway again. Hardly rocket science, but it livened up the usual run up the autoroute. A few hours kip then up to a wonderful hot shower, just finished the unpacking and sorting, followed by logging on here.
Fantastic week and great to see people at various stages of the week. Many, many thanks for another outstanding evening at DfH (proving once again Paddy's theory that the DfH beer selection doesn't give you a headache, but just makes you feel like you've been run over twice by a steam roller in the morning).
An excellent and memorable race pretty much throughout particularly in LMP1 and GT1 just made it all the better, along with all of the many other things that go to make up the Le Mans atmosphere and memories.
Final task will be the depressing one of sorting kit out to head back to High Wycombe this evening for work tomorrow.
