Debs,

Outstanding news - really, really pleased for you and Mr T.  See you there and, if you need to get anywhere, aside from Mr T, there's plenty of willing volunteers here to help out getting you to Tetre Rouge or elsewhere.  All the best and look forward to seeing you in June,

Mark

Fab news Termie. The Micra pic was shocking :o I believe Lady PP still owes you a drink for the airbed loan at DFH in 07. I will make sure that is repaid this June.
The Guiness tent was a right hoot last year so I suggest you take advantage of the Team Zarse offer of Piggy backing. A fine group of hot young studs should have no problem with the transport... perhaps you should suggest one of those things they used in Egypt. Carried shoulder high on a raft by men in posing pouches. ;D

Hello Deb
I’m new to this site been on the Beer Mountain for a while though just been reading through this thread and felt I had to post, few years back now (’93) I had a accident which required rebuilding the knee ACL had the op in feb of that year then lots of physiotherapy to get back walking again.  I know it’s no where near what you have gone thorough but my spur to get back to walking was a visit to Le Mans that year in June.  Managed it and had a brill time the heat, French wine and larger and a visit to the Tertre Rouge bar did me the power of good.  I’m not going this year first I’ve missed for 10 years due to work problems but I wish you a great time and I’m sure the lads will get you to the Tet for a beer!

Keep up the great work and have a ball in June

Cheers Lee  :)

Well, after a few pints of, the guinness goggles might kick in.
If I ws going, I'd volunteer (Not sure about the attire though) to shoulder a corner of the sedan chair.

Although knowing andy, he'd probably sneak in there and eat all the grapes.

Brilliant news.

Truly good news at last

Deb, when I had my knee rebuilt a few years back in the January the major spur in my recovering was the thought of getting back to the Sarthe in the June and a determination not to just sit still when I got there.

Obviously the same forces have been working on you too, must be magic in the air over there.

And the answer to Toby's question is clear, we will all want to drive you around after the GBWelcome

And yes, I'll take a corner of the chair lads, where is that oversize posing pouch I havent usd for SO-O-O-O-o-o long?

On my first trip to LM in 2001 one of the thing that most impressed me was a group of guys hauling on ropes attached to their mates wheelchair to drag him through the mud, he was going where they were going (like it or not I suspect ;D and his wheelchair was fully laden with the beer). I have of course learnt that that this is not anything exceptional at LM, it's just the level of good will that makes LM so great. I am sure "Access to all areas" will not be a problem  :D

Well, flip me Termie - give a man a heart attack won't you?!?

I am probably the last person in the CA world to know about this, as I've been off the grid a bit since changing jobs and emigrating a while back.  Last saw you at Le Mans in '07, so it's been a while.

So glad that you're able to make it to the race this year... Let's hope it's a goodun!

Best wishes,

Patrick (aka Papa Lazarou)
