Liberation day has arrived!  On Wednesday the doc' told me I could leave and I said goobye to the hospital this morning.  I'll be back there three days a week, starting Monday, but it's great to be home.

Celebrated by visiting my friendly local Nissan dealer and buying myself another car. ::)

Good news Deb, still 3 weeks to get yourself all prepared for the 24h.

Had a quick look at page 1 of this thread and suddenly realised that your accident happened in August last year (on my birthday  :-[ ).
Already 9 months no wonder you call it liberation day.

Yes, I do want one, you are correct. :P

However, at the moment I still await the Tribunal and subsequent news of my award from the guilty party's insurance so I only had the cheque from the insurance company for the old girl, much missed.  Thus I bought a Note in the end as I need space for a wheelchair and another Micra wasn't the best option as a result.  Still, for five hundred Euros more than what I got for the dear departed I got a car two years newer with half the kilometers on the clock.  There's something to be said for recessions!

Really glad to hear that another milestone has been reached; with 4 weeks to go gives you plenty of time to get sorted.... ;D
