Brief update : I can go home for a visit the weekend after next. :)
Sadly Troy the wonderdog won't be there to greet me as he succumbed to kidney cancer in my absence. :'(  A house without a dog will be a strange place.
Pecker up, Andy.  Green is definately a sign that you are on the mend.

Sad news about Troy :(  but brilliant news about you Debs  ;D ;D- pleased to hear that mobility and contact with the real world is increasing!  And please don't encourage Mr Z any further, he'll be talking about what it tastes like next..... ::)

Good news about the visit home.

Very sorry to hear about Troy.

Le Mans - the how you get there is not quite as important as being there.

Poor Troy, if it's not one thing it's another...  :(

Have a great weekend though!
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

That's good news about the home visit Deb, well done on the progress.

Sorry to hear about Troy, I'll let you know how Dad gets on with a new puppy and limited mobility before you decide whether a pup is for you!

Debs

Revel in being back in your own place, for the time being at least. I was only away for 4 days, and it was a real turning point, being able to come home. God (Or whoever) knows how it must be for you.

Ian

Well done for everything, including dusting where you know she can't check. You've been a pillar of strength, for us as well as Debs.

Take care

Nick

Cheers all from Termite Towers.  This being France of course, tomorrow is not a holiday so I have to go back to hospital for one day's work (nuts or what?) Still, we managed to knock off a bottle of poo last night.  Am now trying to fathom out how the flippin' i-pod works..... ??? ::)

That's great news Debs, you must be over the moon to be home.  I imagine the animals were pleased to see you?

Have a fantastic day, you worried us all that you might not get to see this Christmas so I can only imagine how Ian feels to have you home, even if it's only for a short time.

We'll have a drink for you later  ;D

Can I just claim the prize for the last to see this?  :o
I don't log in so often, and I guess I've not been here for longer than I thought...

Really sorry to read of the accident - seeing the state of the car I guess you were driving in the Sprint Cup?

I have read all 22 pages, and so glad you appear to be well on the way to recovery.

All the best from Claire and myself, and hope to see you at Scrutineering again in June.

Oh, and Happy New Year to both Ian and yourself.

Mark
