Wonderful.  Somebody has slid in the Freeloader and discovered the RSJ behind the bumber, and given it about an inch of toe in.  And the boy has taken 5 hours to drive from Slough to Bracknell (for those up north, you could walk it in 3 hours)

Took me five and three quarter hours to drive from Bracknell station to home tonight. Admittedly I went the long way round - 4.9 miles. Crazy.

NO chance too much ice so Health and Safety dictates they need to stay off the road until the snow and ice have melted.   Then they'll send out the gritters.

Reading to Letchworth - 2.5 hrs (traffic - no drama)
Letworth to Reading - 3 hrs (traffic - no major drama)
Reading to Woodley (4 miles) 9.5 hours.

Tired. Bored. Tired. Stroppy.

-8 in the van this morning. Rear wheel drive and nothing in the back added to the snow im driving into is making the drive interesting  Undecided

what a load of nancies, down here in the extremes of southern england we're having proper winter weather

Hand brakes were invented for this kind of weather ! Not had so much fun than the last few days, handbraking it around bends at every opportunity  Grin

Then again I am driving a Fiesta courtesy car which i don't mind clipping kerbs in, not so sure i would be doing it in my own Audi with low profile tyres though. angel
