Getting in the mood and ready for Le Mans
« on: April 27, 2009, 03:53:32 pm »
Found a great way to get into the mood for the trip to Le Mans.

Have changed the voice on my GPS to a sexy french lady, don't understand a word she says, but she sounds nice.

When I have it set for dirrections it sounds like she is calling me a twat at times, but it could be "de droite", but not to sure.  ;)

At least when I get to France and I want to find a bar, I'll know if it is on the left or right - I hope.

Has anybody got other ideas to get in the mood and getting ready ?

Counted 18 empty Kronenbourg tins in my recycling box this morning from over the weekend. All my own work!
Going to the pub tonight to help build up the beer muscles.

And so on and so forth!!!
I tested negative for patience.

I practice by drinking warm fake french lager from tesco ,cheap red wine and vodka martinis without the vermouth or ice!
Sometimes I even use seperate glasses.

Not being able to get warm fake French beer as cheaply as Carlsberg, I have settled for drinking copious numbers of cans of the said substitute nightly, even allowing one or two per night to get periously close to room temperature...

It's a $h!t job but it has to be done

I persevere!

I had a weekend off the booze to lull my liver and kidneys into a false sense of security.  Practice for LM starts tomorrow with a noshing and sloshing day in London all epxenses paid.  Then it's full on practice every weekend until the off.   ;D

Dx
Live imperfectly and with great delight.

Worst practice method is to argue with the wifey.

Tent in garden.
At my age, it takes me all night to do what I used to do all night!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, growing old is compulsary, but growing up is just optional.

I don't do GREEN, I've got a 4x4

Photos next weekend when I'm back home.  I only have my baby netbook here and not much time to look through the 600+ pics Mr T took!  But they're on the way, have no fear (not all 600)  :).
