It could be, on the basis that the Commer has, indeed, been replaced by something modern because the owner has gone soft  in his dotage.

However, it is in the top 3 of threads by posts and views. And I would rather like to hear how well it survives the trials and tribulations of a Le Mans trip. I suspect the fixtures and fittings may not be quite as robust as the Commer.......

Perhaps the new owner of the Commer could be directed to this thread, and we could follow the old girls restoration.

I was behind this on track at the Silverstone Classic a few weeks ago. And while we were only on a parade lap, it certainly wasn't hanging around. Nice, but I'd find better ways of spending £90k
