The pub is right underneath the World Trade Centre. Just find the large building as posted underneath, and have a walk around the block (max. 5 minutes). You can't miss the Irish Pub ;)

So I guess it'S not called O'Shea's Paddy? (lijnbaan)

The WTC Rotterdam is at the Coolsingel/Beursplein for those who want to use a map. ;)

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

No, not the O'Shea's. To be honest I don't know the name of the pub (I don't go out often enough)

Name of the street is Rode Zand, which runs paralell with the Coolsingel, the main street of Rotterdam. Coolsingel has tube stations, the station you want is "Beurs" (Dutch for Trade).

On this map the red dot is the pub, and the arrow is where the picture above is taken from. That small little M at the bottom left is the tube station (metro).

Oh no, this sounds terrible, nobody knows where the Irish bar is,

you mean we will have to go into all the bars looking to see if they sell

and of cousre we have to be sociable and have a drink, as we are polite - honest!

Just to find you lot.

Oh, its chore, but if it has to be done.  ;D

hehe ::)

Found it! A bit of a weird name for a pub though, it's registered as Glenmoss Taverns Limited :-\

Here's the link (click!) if you want it.

[edit] Looked a bit further (Chamber of Commerce link), and the name of the pub is Paddy Murphys.
What's in a name ;D

Here's their site http://www.paddymurphys.nl/index.htm

I must say I can't remember too many details of last year there as I was a bit wasted!

I recall it being called Paddy's.

I thought it was part of the world takeover!

I'll be driving up so my arrival time is in the lap of the traffic etc.  I have several air beds and pillows which I'll chuck in the car, and one spare sleeping bag, if anybody is interested - might save luggage on the plane?

Dear all,

Got an email this morning about the go-kart event. Michael Bleekemolen will be our instructor for the afternoon. Michael is the father of Jeroen Bleekemolen, you all know Jeroen as the Spyker and Racing for Holland driver over the last few years at Le Mans and LMS.
Michael himself is an ex-Formula 1 driver (drove a few races in the late Seventies), so he will know enough to learn us some thing about go-karts we don't know yet. Nowadays he is still active on the race tracks racing driving Porsche Super Cup and Renault Clio Cup. More about Michael can be found here (click).

Hope this will be to your satisfaction ;)

I can invite Michael for that, but it wouldn't surprise me if he simply goes home after the go-karts :-\

Great stuff Paddy.  Although I'm not sure about the idea of a professional driver watching my attempts at Karting! ::)
