Hey Deb, glad to see you back among this mob.  You scared the sh*t out of all of us.  The hubby did a great job of keeping us posted on your various states of re-assembly.  Sebring this coming March, you know the warm weather will help the aching bones feel better ;)

It'll polish out...

Really glad to hear that you are well and truly on the mend Debs; what are you going to turn up in for the Great British Welcome next year?

Debs

after looking at the picture I suddenly like Micras even more

After this year's escapade around St Sat I already knew it was a good and lively motor but that does show how good and strong they are

If I had owned one, having another would be a very strong possibility

see you next year if I can

Much will depend upon the French courts and how much money (if any) I get in compensation.

Let's hope they're generous and you can buy something built a little further south than Washington, namely a product from Crewe...

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Debs,

All the very best - that is one seriously, seriuosly bent motor which withstood a great deal on your behalf - the designers should take a pat on the back, and Nissan sould give you a new one for such destructive testing.  Really great to see you back posting here!

Hi Deb,

God what a state that left the car in, not surprising you were knocked around pretty bad. Great to see you here typing away again. Hope the recovery goes to plan.

Thanks all for your continuing support!

Good news and bad this week.  I have a filthy cold and cannot go in the pool until it's cleared up. :(  However, I can now get from chair to bed without help and if all goes well will be allowed on the parallel bars by the end of the week.  Also I'm off for my first trip out since the accident, on Wednesday. Yeah, it's only round the shopping centre but to me it's freedom of a sort.

Gymnastics?  Good grief.  Next thing you know you'll be trying out for the 2012 Olympics.   ;)

;D indeed!

I stood up today.  Yes, I know most people do this without thinking but it was a real landmark for me.  It sure makes you appreciate the things you normally take for granted.

Careful, that'll spoil the plan for wheelchair access accompanied by around 200 or so "helpers" into the inner sanctum of the ACO..... ;D

Keep the pecker up Debs, hope all is progressing well, sounds like it is with you being up on 2 pins - a major milestone!  And now that you are allowed back into shopping centres, Ian is (I trust) salting all the cash away he has saved from you not shopping, before you can spend it, to buy you an stupendously nice and expensive Christmas pressie.  You deserve one, whether it's a material thing or just something practical like being at home and on you two feet.
