Does anyone have any idea of what the weather is likely to be like while we are there?
I heard from a mate that it should be warm... but do any of you have a better idea?

No matter how positive the weather forcast sounds 3 days ago - you MUST be prepared to come across torrential rainfalls , lots of wind and cool, chilly nights, this can always happen in this part of Germany, even in summer. 3years ago they had to stop the race for some hours during the night because there was too much water on the track and the fog was so dense that some drivers missed the track and ended up in emergency exits instead ;D

Wellies?  Waterproof Hi Vis Coat?

Have you gone soft?

Take a pair of jandals for your feet, a plastic bin bag for your top half, and a towel.

Stop acting like a ponce!!!   ;)

Ah...but Rex - you are obviously not cognisant of the heat-retaining and waterproof properties of a pair of jandals  :P

Lol, the eiffel is a bit like the Ardennes in Belgium, it can be beautiful in the rest of the country, but pouring at the track. Better prepare for everything and you'll be fine. I do agree with Doris on the raingear though  :P
