Now that my tickets have arrived, thet bit of nervousness has gone, go it's full staem ahead...

39 days 12 hours 28 minutes 33 seconds to ferry sailing time...
Will we get to see "smoke" this year? Sadly my Silver Nissan has gone to the great banger racing heaven that looms when Nissan deletes all parts and all spares that fail are the same age. Where are you sailing from?

Due to the fine weather in the East midlands I took the opportunity with some help from a couple of our team of getting all the kit out from last year and giving it a trial run/airing...everything is "A" OK only need to replace a couple of fold up chairs and we are ready!! ;D

Just checking off the days!! 8)

Feels like its getting closer now, collected the tickets last light from the purser.

Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

Working on climatising myself for France at present.

Drinking a bottle of Claret, working hard to drink the whole bottle and not get a hangover. Good to get in training.  ;)

Tucking in to a large Vodka and Tonic after drinking Peroni in the sunshine for most of the afternoon. Training is fully underway and I WILL be fully Pi** fit by June.... especially as we have our jolly to Germany to  get limbered up ;D woooo ;D

Doing the best worst I can with some Captain Morgan's spiced rum, still need some thorough training with it, someone got some to spare?  :P

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

Mrs S is going out on Friday so I'm going to drag all my camping gear out of the loft and check it over whilst continuing training my liver. Got my transport sorted for the midnight trip down to Arnage too.... Check it out!

Just got to build it up with some nice parts from my stash.

Now that the tickets have arrived......I can relax......and plan to settle down tonight and watch Le Mans, Never start something you can't stop and A year to remember.

All feature plenty of blue and orange.  :)

Would be rude to not include the consumption of a few cold ones along the way.

Le Mans is for the week......not just 24hrs!

When life throws you lemons, bring out the tequila!!
