1861  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:What is a 'lay by' on: March 12, 2004, 09:38:16 pm
Antares is a tarmac wasteland with some grass verges, laid out along the first section of the Mulsanne just down from Tertre Rouge. Lots of people were camping on the verges and dividers between each section of the tarmacky bits. The Attendants were pushing everyone they could into there as Parking Vert became unavailable last year.

Nobody moaned at us tenting there though, but as well as the "Aforementioned Buttocks" watch out for the huge red ants. We had to shift the tent twice before the ants allowed us the squatters rights...  No available bogs either!

 Shocked

Bloody hell two hours is gonna be pushing the envelope a little Robbo. Microlight maybe.

Just had an email about cheapo ferries Pompey-Le Havre down to 180 now if ordered before April 1st. Was about 300 before Xmas. Sort of tempting, I wonder if Mrs Bill fancies a quick trip, nearly said quickie then, slip of the wotsit! Embarrassed

And now if you can just stop the ground shuddering for the 24 hours you will have cracked it Robbo!

I suppose a gyro stabilised pole is next

Err, can I come round and watch Discovery Home and Leisure and New Wankee Workshop? Not...

Otherwise, it would get even more flooded with people who understand neither motor racing nor drinking, let alone the finer points of history, french culture etc...

Then we'd have corporate hospitality, 'organised' accomodation and meals, pretty people wandering around with "access all areas" passes and the true enthusiast kicked away into a field called Camping Merde.

Hang on.......we have this already!

I hope no-one ever tells the televised truth about "being at" Lemons... All users should find out for themselves. Catching the "bug" second hand is a terrible idea, shouldn't be allowed...

And as for the boys nights out, being televised, God help us all!

Camping Merde! Try Antares on the grass verge, no on second thoughts, don't, really...

We were right along the fence keeping all and sundry away from the Mulsanne straight, still there was always another tree to "go" behind. Shocked

It should be obvious - Goldiloppers trickely how de early mordy, and falloloped down the stairs. How unfortunate for the crackery of the eggers and grazed her kneeclappers, but a little Vaselubrios, rub it on and a quick healey huff.  Grin Grin

Good ol' Prof, never left any punters confused unlike Migrosaft who left me behind five years ago and keep changing the software before I can play "catch-up" Smiley

Robbo, will you be slipping in some of that tape as promised?

I'm sorry to be last to get Nick's and mine but we were lateish ordering so "No worries!"

Actually knowing it hasn't been posted saves the daily ambush of the postie, you know, "Oi you, why are you stealing my Tee Shirts?"

Audi ring tattoos, nice new idea.... RS2Babe, where are you having that? Same place as Hannah's? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Only fifteen weeks to go, "I'm so excited" cue stupid voice like Disney advert on telly!  Smiley
1870  Club Arnage / General Discussion / Re:Alternative t-shirt...introducing Hannah! on: February 28, 2004, 01:57:37 am
Hmm, nice!

I suppose I should offer my services painting these tattoos for the beermountaineers, on any such lovely ladies that want them, perhaps in a quiet corner of the Shampoo bar where no-one would notice.

I could also do a nice line in painted on knickers if asked.

Hannah would definitely be needed there to showhow it will look.

What?

Rude?

Me?

never....... Tongue Tongue Tongue Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Smiley

I live near the fringes of Birmingham, remember us we used to be an industrial city?

Work aiming to keep the cars of 14 million people on the road (Ferrrcrissakenotallatonce-perlease!)

56 going on senile

drive a pharted about with quickish Midget and a Sayab9000 (and the company's yellow thingy!)

This year will be the second year of my life after going to La Sarthe last year with my co-pilot Nick (who may butt in here if he can remember how to get here in his Stella fuelled haze!)

This year is gonna be even better, going overnight Thursday instead of last thing Friday and I have a few new mates to meet before the race! Not forgetting a pair of tee shirts to show off....

Rusty, just a thought, Tony was probably right NOT to be watching the road at that speed, wow.

I wonder if that clip would download quicker if I threw another couple of shovelfuls of coal on the boiler? Sad

I'll just have to donate a whole BTInternet session to it, I really want to see it. Any CD's out there? Wink

Yes, thank your mate for the use of it..
